best week ever

seeing as my birthday is coming up on Tuesday, it seems the stars have aligned and perhaps the best week i've ever lived happened to me. first off, let me get into some details of this phenomenal past few days...

Tuesday, December 1st
- this is normally Gangsta Luncheon day, when me and my best friend Kapz go to Qdoba and kick it old school for awhile. right before Kapz arrives at my house, im flipping back and forth between Twitter and Facebook, as usual. On facebook, i see KiD CuDi post a question for Boston, Mass fans. it wasn't just a question, it was a contest. First person to answer "What is KiD CuDi's real name" gets tix to his sold out concert with Lady GaGa on Wednesday night. I was on facebook at the right time and in the right place, as i posted his real name, Scott Mescudi, first and won the tickets! (i'll post some concert pictures after this)

Wednesday, December 2nd
- work. i love work, i love doing what i do, because i am in construction and i love everything about it. the work day was fine, i made my money, and my uncle (who is the boss/owner of the const. company) gives me 2 cigars and a bottle of Captain Morgan. The cigars were about $45 each, as he is an avid cigar aficionado and has numerous humidors full of expensive cigars. this was a great day. Work + cigars + Cap'n = success

Same day
- Lady GaGa's Monster Ball feat KiD CuDi. This was one of the best concerts i've ever been to. GaGa and CuDi KILLED it. Lady GaGa is one of the best performers I've ever had the privilege to see. The show has been sold out for months, and i was wicked bummed that i couldnt go see CuDi and GaGa in one of the most hyped events/Boston's hardest ticket of the year. I won them, and FROM KID CUDI HIMSELF. Motown Universal sent me the tix overnight with an exclusive KiD CuDi man on the moon pin, which i may cherish for the rest of my life. The show was at the Wang Theatre in Boston, and it was ridiculous. Packed house full of freaks, Lady GaGa impersonators, and other misc. weird ass people, but that was not going to ruin the amazingness that was CuDi and GaGa.

Thursday December 3rd
- I get another package in the mail today. its from Lifted Research Group, aka LRG clothing. What is it, you ask? no big deal, just LMNO's debut cd Devilish Dandruff and Holy Shampoo and about 500 LRG stickers. How'd i get that, you ask? i just happen to WIN THIS ON TWITTER! I was so stoked to get this cd, LMNO is a white rapper (JUST LIKE EMINEM) and he's actually wicked good.

Later that day...
- My 2 pairs of New Balance kicks came by UPS. this just made my day even better. two pairs of 574's, one all gray and one gray and blue. New Balance's are gonna be the biggest thing this year, just you wait. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST.

Friday December 4th
- nothing really special today, but i wore one of my pairs of True Religion Brand Jeans out to go get my family's Christmas tree. i wear my TR's all the time, but today it was like "HEY LOOK AT JUSTIN HE'S WEARING A DOPE ASS PAIR OF JEANS DAY!". i bought a pair of jeans from PacSun at the mall (i know right, who buys a pair of $40 jeans when you are wearing $350 jeans) but regardless, i was being hit on by the girl at the counter, the dude helping me out picking out a pair of PacSun jeans was complimenting the style of the jeans (nohomo) and after that when i went to get the tree, 2 workers stopped to talk to me strictly about my jeans. I was wearing my headphones mind them, add also that i HATE talking to people, except when it is about me. i was kind of pissed i had to take my headphones out, but it was legit when they were complimenting me on my style. gotta love that.

Saturday December 5th
- spent about $300 on my mother's Xmas presents. i love throwin' cash. Also, my TITS stickers came in the mail. i now have TITS and LRG stickers for days.

Sunday, December 6th.
- my mother wants to spend hella cash on me, as usual, so we go shopping for my birthday presents. Cant really find anything because i have everything, but she leaks out that she bought me the DJ Hero Deluxe Eminem/Jay-z Edition game for Xmas. I was stoked at that, which just keeps up the momentum for this awesome week.
also, the Patriots lost (lame) but to the Dolphins (i kinda like them), and the Giants won (WOO!) over the Cowboys (HAHA U SUCK TONY HOMO).

Tomorrow will be the 7th, and the 8th is MY MUTHAFUCKIN BIRTHDAY. This week has been awesome, and here, as promised are the Lady GaGa and KiD CuDi pictures. merry christmas bitches.

Lady GaGa is dope, regardless of any nonsense u wanna spray, i LOVE Lady GaGa. Her music is wicked catchy, wicked upbeat, and always mixed with a dope beat. KiD CuDi is as equally talented and his performance was hyped up track after hyped up track and he KILLED it. he even did his song "Memories" from David Guetta's album. The show was uber dope, simple as that.

College dropouts, death threats, and more!

Well, we all knew it was going to happen, it was just a matter of when it would take place. Notre Dame football coach Charlie Weis was finally fired today, after ruining ND's legacy this season. The Fightin' Irish have been 35-27 over the past 5 seasons under Weis, which is unheard of in South Bend. Weis was paid some ridiculous amount of money to coach (he gets $10 million just from his contract buy-out), and did not produce Notre Dame numbers or results. I feel bad for the man, but hey, if you dont win, then you're losing, and nobody wants to pay millions for sub-par results. Weis is rumored to have multiple NFL teams looking at him for a coaching position, be it an offensive coordinator (which he is great at) or a real head coach (which he is not so great at). I feel Weis has a better calling in the NFL than he ever will in college. How are you going to do that bad when you have Jimmy Clausen and Golden Tate? It is even worse for Weis because Notre Dame is his alma mater.

Weis is gone, and Bob Stoops is rumored to be the heir apparent.

Florida State University's living legend Bobby Bowden will announce his retirement from coaching football at the school on Tuesday. Bowden, who is as old as the hills, has had a tremendous career under his belt. With 388 wins, which is 2nd all time behind Penn State's Joe Paterno, Bobby Bowden has transcended Florida State football. ESPN.com reports "According to sources, Bowden was given two options: return to FSU in 2010 as an ambassador to the program, in which he would have little input in the day-to-day operations of the program, or retire after the Seminoles' upcoming bowl game." Bowden will clearly take the latter, because he most likely did not want to be a figurehead for the 'Noles if he could not be the coach. Can't blame him there, but when your time is up, your time is up.

Aside from these departures, here is something thats a little less sad, and a little more "wow".

Serena Williams, the tennis superstar, was fined $82.5k for her actions at the U.S. Open. Remember what she did at the Open? If memory serves me right she said something about a tennis ball being shoved down the line judge's throat and killing him...no big deal. That's the typical trash talk at a tennis match, right?

Serena will also be placed under probation for awhile, and she will be allowed to play as long as she does not have any more outbursts on a grand scale as she did there. As far as the fine goes, $82.5k is pocket change for a woman who is sponsored by Nike and also has her own clothing line, Aneres. (That's Serena spelled backwards.)

Something even worse than being fired or being fined...and that is playing for the New Jersey Nets. The Nets have lost EVERY GAME THIS SEASON so far. that is 0 wins and 17 losses. They have fired their coach Lawrence Franks, and now General Manager Kiki Vandeweghe will take over for the rest of the season. I suppose anyone can coach a team that is 0-17, the only place you can go from there is up!
Photobucket
With 17 losses already, the Nets can't buy a break. They can't get a win, they have about 5 fans showing up each game (its hyperbole, but in reality its not that far of a stretch), and they are going to move to Brooklyn in a few years...recipe for success? No. This just sounds disastrous for this franchise. It is sad to think back and remember Jason Kidd and Vince Carter dominating the courts when they were with the Nets a few years back. I understand you can't be good every year, but HOW DO YOU LOSE 17 STRAIGHT?!

Lastly, the piece de resistance, tonight's Monday Night Football game. The New England Patriots and the New Orleans Saints square off in a tremendous matchup. Brady. Brees. 'Nuff said, right?
Photobucket
This matchup has been hyped up for a week now, and to be honest, this game better be the best damn thing ever in the history of MNF or I will be let down. I'm from Boston, so you know who I'm rooting for here, but it wouldn't surprise me if the Pats lost this game. Brees is a machine out there, and the Saints are a perfect 10-0. You don't get that record by accident. The Pats are no slouches either though, especially now that Brady and Moss are playing like they did in 2007. It's also a battle of the brains, with New England's Bill Belicheck facing off against NO's Sean Payton. This has all the making for a wicked good game. I predict the Patriots win this in a shootout, 45 to 42.

Time to go watch the game, PEACE OUT!
