Tryna hit it and quit it and walk off (not like big papi anymore)

Three games into the Major League Baseball season and we already have a plethora of walk off wins! This is why no sport is better than baseball. Seriously though, let's go over some of the walk offs this year.

A's Kurt Suzuki
Dude is DIRTY so far this year (excuse his 2 throwing errors though). he's always been one of my favorite players, especially lately because i play for the Boston A's and i am the catcher. Kurt hit a walk off double to win the game for the A's vs. the Seattle Mariners.

Cincinatti Reds Jonny Gomes
Gomes went deep against the St. Louis Cardinals, and when i say deep, i mean he absolutely PIMPED THE SHIT out of the ball. the second he made contact, (FULL EXTENSION BTW) he knew it was gone. Love that feeling.

Pittsburgh Pirates Ronny Cedeno
Cedeno only had a walk off single which scored Lastings Milledge (bases were loaded), but still, a walk off hit is clutch.

A's Mark Ellis
Ellis also hit a walk off single to win. Its boring, but it gets the job done. The A's have 2 walk off wins already...ridiculous but the fans love it!

Texas Rangers Jared Saltalamacchia (on opening day!)
The Rangers catcher (finally, the catcher's showing up big!) hit a walk off single to beat the Toronto Blue Jays at the Rangers home opener. Saltalamacchia sucks, which makes it even better that he did something good for the team.

... and this is only 3 games into the season!!!

We also have the Masters golf tournament, which means..*drum roll please*.. TIGER WOODS IS BACK!!!!

*cues music - Maino - Get Em Tiger*

Photobucket
My man Tiger Woods is finally back on the course. Tiger, seen above schooling the world on how to keep your hoes in line, finished day 1 yesterday with a -4, which is the best he's EVER done in the first round of the Masters. Today at the current time (11:24am EST) Woods is -5 through 2. I want the world to know, the second his whole "scandal" broke, i called that he would have to leave golf for awhile but then he'll come back and win whatever tourney he enters...I STAND BY MY CLAIM AND I AM BEHIND TIGER 100%!!! Who cares if he got around with some broads, hes the WORLDS BEST GOLFER. i could be the world's best blogger/baseball player/sexiest man alive but i dont need to wear a scarlet letter cus i "thug em fuck em love em leave em cus i dont fuckin need em" (jay-z - big pimpin). Hop off the hate train of Tiger and get back on the bandwagon because DUDE IS NICE with the golf clubs.

I SWAG, I SURF.

OK, well, since there really isnt much baseball news to inform you of (because i figure if you read this sports/swag blog you most likely watch Sportscenter anyways) so instead of baseball news, im going to give my predictions for this season and throw some swag shots in for the hell of it as well.

So let's get down to business (i dont got no time to play around, what is this?! /eminem). But really though, baseball predictions. Here we go...

AL
East - Red Sox
Central - Twins
West - Angels
W.C. - Yankees

Big (bigger than usual) seasons expected from: Kevin Youkilis, Red Sox. Brian Matusz, Orioles. Evan Longoria, Rays. Nelson Cruz, Rangers. Kurt Suzuki, A's.

NL
East - Phillies
Central - Cardinals
West - Dodgers
W.C. - Braves

Big (bigger than usual) seasons expected from: Roy Halladay, Phillies. Jason Heyward, Braves. Cliff Lee, Mariners. Ken Griffey, Jr. , Mariners.

World Series - Red Sox over Phillies in 6 games.

There you have it folks, my picks for this season/playoffs. I have it correct, they don't even have to play the games but hey, let's play em anyways. (sarcasm)

as for the Swaggage that I promised...

The Pittsburgh Pirates and Baltimore Orioles have BY FAR! the most swag out of any team in baseball, maybe in all of professional sports. "They swag is on one hundred, thousand, trillion..." - Yeezy

^^ Adam Jones's swag is RIDICULOUS!

for example, look at his swingman remix cleats

and to end this post, i assume you've all seen this by now, but still the fact that he finished the play is just insane.

Vanderbilt pitcher Corey Williams took a liner back up the box hitting him FLUSH on the knee, shattering it in half (seriously. look at the x-ray picture, looks like a cracked open egg) and STILL had the balls to make the out!

here's the play.

now tell me baseball players arent tough. we are the best breed of people out there.

SEACREST OUT! (no homo)

THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN!

As you may have already known, Sunday was a holiday. No matter what religion you are, the only one that mattered was the church of BASEBALL! OPENING DAY 2010 was upon us, and in what better way to start a season than with the Boston Red Sox taking on the defending World Champion New York Yankees at Fenway Park in Boston. The game was fantastic, especially because the Red Sox won 9-7. The game had numerous celebrity sightings, such as Dr. Dre, Lebron James, Jimmy Iovine, (all plugging Dre Beats headphones Red Sox edition), Neil Diamond, Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Keri Hilson, and PEDRO MARTINEZ EVEN THREW OUT THE FIRST PITCH! Not much is better than Opening Night baseball!

Aside from the star studded crowd at Fenway, there was even more swag on the field. Yankees starting pitcher and world's fattest baseball player C.C. Sabathia was sportin some HEAT on the field.
In the 1st and 2nd innings, Sabathia was wearing Cool Gray Jordan XI's as seen here
Photobucket
but after the 2nd inning changed into black Jordan IV's
Photobucket

I believe the Yankees organization made C.C. change his cleats because they have a black cleat policy, where every player has to have predominantly black cleats as part of the uniform.

C.C. wasnt the only one sporting some fire on his feet. Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia was wearing his new signature New Balance 1100's in Red Sox red camouflage. Pedroia also went deep for the second straight Opening Day.

Yankees Captain and shortstop Derek Jeter also wore his latest signature gear/batting gloves in the game.
Photobucket

Also in baseball news, Atlanta Braves rookie/phenom Jason Heyward went deep in his first Major League Baseball at bat. Heyward, who is in my opinion the next Ken Griffey Jr except without the injuries (aka the best ever) is going to carry the Braves to the promised land (playoffs) this year. IM CALLING IT! Dude's 1st pro at bat and he jacks a 3-run bomb...need i say more?
Photobucket

St. Louis Cardinal 1st baseman Albert Pujols is already playing his way to another MVP title. Pujols drops BOMBS and plays a mean 1b. dude has 2 homers already. THEYVE ONLY PLAYED ONE GAME!
Photobucket

BY FAR, the best play of the day, and very well may be the best play of the YEAR, is this: Chicago White Sox pitcher Mark Buehrle.

Also Nelson Cruz of the Texas Rangers hit an opposite field home run off a pitch that was low and outside. Cruz flicked his wrists and cranked one out farther than most players that swing as hard as they can. DUDE IS A STUD, WATCH HIM. HES GOING TO HAVE A MONSTER SEASON. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST.

One down, 161 more to go. LET THE SEASON BEGIN!

lighten the mood

In my internet travels i've come across some awesome things lately, and i figured i'd share some.
First off, as you know im a HUGE fan of TITS....and also Two in the Shirt clothing. Recently they had a "Bonita Applebum" text-in contest, which of course, I won. I have been retardedly lucky with contests in the past few years. Anyways, the shirt i won is exclusive as of right now, but the shirt will drop on the shoptits.com site later this month. Peep this if you dont believe me:
Photobucket
As for T.I.T.S as a brand, they are doing a collaboration with Sunny Leone and i love her. here, watch this video, you'll love her too.

TITS X Sunny Leone: Behind the Scenes from TITS BRAND on Vimeo.

Enough with the TITS(wrong, you can never have enough) but still...The following image is so true to life its creepy. Everyone (that still uses AIM anyways) has a buddy list full of people. For guys like me, this is basically what your buddy list consists of. This was nearly 100% dead on with me, Photobucket
There are many things that all men have in common, and their buddy list is one of them. Check any guy's AIM, there BL is for the most part going to consist of the exact same people. Crazy.

This next image i stole from DCtoBC.com . I saw this on his blog and just died laughing, so, for your viewing pleasure...
Photobucket
There you go guys, follow the flow chart and you should be good to go.

Also, i got some new tunes for you.
This song, which i first heard from local DJ and legend Clinton Sparks on his Smashtime radio show last weekend, is called Crush by Theory featuring Red Cafe. Take a listen for yourself.

ADVISORY WARNING: I HATE FAT JOE. but i gotta give him his props because him and Jeezy (no longer Young Jeezy) went hard as hell on this track. "Ha-Ha (Slow Down Son)"

and that's all i got. i figured since i hadn't blogged in a few weeks id drop some funniness and shit to lighten the mood, and if i didnt...
