in this world, privacy is a thing of the past. people are on blogs (like this), facebook, myspace, some shit they call twitter, and all sorts of other things that tell people who you are, what youre into, what youre doing, who youre doing it with, and almost anything you want to know about that person. are we really in an era of time that we have nothing better to do than to go to a website and tell everyone your business than we are a sad society.
im all for social networking, i think its great that you can have a quick and easy way to contact your friends across the country, but seriously, its getting rediculous. maybe its just me, but i like to be left alone. i like being by myself. i like it when noone knows where i am. if i could escape to a deserted island every now and then, id be the happiest person ever. i love my friends, dont get me wrong. my friends are the best people in this world, but there are those times when i just wanna call it quits, leave this world and be alone. goddamn, give a motherfucker a second to think.
i dont want to turn this blog into an emotional outlet and all that nonsense, but i might have to. does the phrase "i just want to be left alone" mean anything to anyone? it shouldnt be offensive, as some people take it, and it shouldnt mean anything but "please, leave me be". take it for what you want, but sometimes i wish i could just get in a spaceship and fly away.
