one of my favorite songs, I Poke Her Face, by KiD CuDi ft. Kanye West and Common. i personally LOVE CuDi, hes been nice WAY before "day n night" so you should really check him out. his mixtapes are all available online, and for free. so, check that out.
This is Chillin' by Wale ft. Lady Gaga. NO HOMO for liking 2 songs that have Gaga hooks and samples, but still, this song is great. Wale, from DC, is one of my favorite rappers of all time. i have been a fan of him ever since i heard his song Nike Boots. since that i have researched him and now im a huge fan. this video was shot in Boston/Charlestown. the store where Wale goes through the soda machine is called Bodega, and is located in Boston. this boutique store is truly amazing and you should check it out sometime.
This is the song Run This Town by Jay-z feat Rihanna and the man, the myth, the legend, Kanye West. Rihanna kills the chorus, she did such a great job. i love her voice in it. and of course Ye just goes berzerk on his verse. is there any doubt that a Jay Hova song is gonna be a smash? is there ever any doubt that a HOV song with Ye and Rihanna is gonna be straight fire?! NEVER. great way to follow up Death of Autotune, Jay. good stuff
This is the video for Big Sean's song Getcha Some. this WILL be the jam sooner or later. it is my favorite song at the moment, yes because he is wearing Bape, BBC, Ice Cream, Louis Vuitton, True Religions, and all of my favorite brands. my new catch phrase -"Athiests turn Christian when I rock my True Relgions". Yes, i am that vain, and yes i am rich bitch.
while on the topic of fashion, you might recall the artist Zevs that i wrote about a few posts ago. he had that amazing Louis Vuitton piece with the melting Monogram in multicolor (hows that for consonance, M's for days!). well, Zevs was ARRESTED!!! he was caught in the act of tagging a wall..but this wall happened to be one that belonged to the GIORGIO ARMANI STORE! he was tagging up the wall with a melting Chanel crossed C's logo when authorities caught him. oh, the artist. such a torchered soul.

oh Zevs, "you got some 'splainin to do"
as you may already know, i LOVE louis vuitton. no homo. this is the coolest thing i have ever seen the LV store do. this is at the LV store on 5th ave in NYC, which is known for their extravagant window displays as well as holiday shows put on the storefront. one time i went to NYC in December and i recall the store wrapped in a big red bow as a present with the LV monogram designs falling down the building like snowflakes. it is really a sight to behold, but this, this just raises that bar to an unreachable level. i present to you, the history of the LV speedy bag!
so, from ballin, i take you to BASEballin. lol
Livestrong is my favorite campaign that nike has ever done. i love the idea of clothing and footwear supporting cancer. hopefully one day, cancer will be a thing of the past. the livestrong cause has clearly been seen by MLB players such as Russel Martin and Joe Mauer, as well as John Lester who has actually SURVIVED cancer. here are a few pics of the livestrong edition things players are wearing nowadays.

Martin's Livestrong batting gloves

Lester's Livestrong cleats

Lester's Livestrong glove - which i believe is being auctioned off by Nike
this is a MONSTER post, so ill let this linger for awhile. youre welcome for the MUSIC MINUTE haha peace out!
