ink'd up

i have an absolute love of all things tattoo. from the ever so popular ed hardy clothing line, to actually getting ink done. i have a koi fish half sleeve on my right arm, my name in a tribal pattern i drew on my back right shoulder blade, and a custom clover on my left arm. im definately getting more, so i decided to peruse the interwebs to find some. i came across some pro sports players' ink, so im going to list a few of my favorites.

first off, we got my favorite white basketball player, Chris BIRDMAN Andersen.
this guys been kicked out of the league for cocain, but then again WHO HASNT? hes got both arms covered, and the coup de grace? BIRD WINGS on the underside of his arms. u cant be fly without wings, i always say.

here is Prince Fielder with his name on his neck in Kanji. i love the Kanji idea, having characters instead of plainly spelling out words, which is why i want a kanji tat some day.

this is Tampa Bay's Johnny Gomes. hes got a tattoo very similar to mine, which boosts him up in my "cool players list" haha. koi fish tattoos may be cliche, but to me they symbolize alot. i have mine to inspire me. theres a legend behind koi fish, which you may find interesting. google it if you dont believe me.

Joel Zumaya is the ONLY person in the world that can pull off flames. sorry josh hamilton, but u just look like a bum with your flames. Zumaya throws 100mph. that is heat, which is represented by his tat.

those are a few of the better ones i could find, and are some cool tattoos. even if you dont like the whole body art idea, you should look deeper into people who have it instead of thinking 'wow that guy is on drugs for getting a tattoo'. there are things very meaningful to people that are now drawn on them, after all, art is expression and what better way to express yourself..than ON yourself!
