The Toronto Blue Jays still have their ace pitcher Roy Halladay, and there seems to be no trade in sight for him. The Sox want to keep their young prospects, the Phils already got their ace, and rightfully so, noone else wants to get rid of their talent on the farm. Where will Halladay end up? I say he stays in Toronto til the end of the year then signs a gigantic contract with either the Sox or the Yanks.

(i used this picture because those are the BEST jerseys in baseball!)
ChiSox pitcher Mark Buerhle has been super hot as of late, throwing 54 straight batters, which is just out of this world. after throwing a perfect game, in his next start he just goes perfect through 5 2/3. no big deal. just a day in the life of Mark.

Buerhle was on Letterman's top 10, and number 8 was the best - things that went through Mark's head during his perfect game "man, too bad im not on my own fantasy team"
now for something not relating to baseball at all...

Takashi Murakami has once again collabo'd with Louis Vuitton to create a plush toy. now, seeing as it is LV, you know it wont be a typical toy price tag attached to it.

yes, that is a birth/dog tag that comes with it. pretty cool if you ask me.
the Sox are on a bit of a skid, now 3.5 games back of the Yankees in the East but we are still leading the AL wildcard by 1.5. its been a sad few days in the nation, even with Jim Rice getting his number retired and inducted into the hall.
Ah salam alaikum!
