09' - the year of the diss track. (and AMA review)

first and foremost, we got some new tracks from my boy Beanie Sigel and scum of the earth Canibitch, i mean, Canibus. Beanz is back at it again smashin on Jay-z with his song "How I Can Kill Jigga Man" (a "remix" if u will to Cypress Hill/Rage Against The Machine's "How I Could Just Kill A Man"). Canibus went after Eminem yet again with his song featuring DZK.

Canibus actually went HARD on his track, actually throwing down some good lines and talking a boatload of shit towards Em, Proof (R.I.P) and D12. Canibitch even used samples of Em and D12 in this song, just adding fuel to the fire. i have no doubts that Eminem will come back and absolutely ANNIHILATE Canibitch 100 times harder than normal because Canibus went and talked about Proof, the late member of D12 who was Eminem's best friend. DZK is a rapper from DC, i dont really know what his beef is with Em but he just dug his own grave too. i can't wait to hear Eminem's response. Canibus went in on Em for his fling with Mariah and his beef with Nick Cannon, and a plethora of other stuff. Eminem might be back on his game after going in on this guy. It makes me wonder though, after this beef was fin'd in 2003, why bring it back up 6 years later? Bad move by Canibus. All pissing Em off does just makes your career (like Canibus had a rap career, right? haha) end sooner than expected.

Eminem performed at the AMA's last night with 50 Cent as the duet did their hit "Crack a Bottle" and then Em did his verse from "Forever".

Beanie Sigel fired his shots at Jay-z with his first diss "Not Ya Average Cat". Since Jay-z was quoted in an interview saying that Beanz is overreacting and all this nonsense, Sigel Desert Eagle fired another shot with "How I Can Kill Jigga Man". This short 2-minute track blasts Jay with in my opinion is a SICK twist on Jay-z's song "Takeover". Sigel starts the song out with "The Takeover, the breaks over. FRAUD MC, he, Jay Hova." which is a spin on the intro from "Takeover". Beanz keeps sayin "boy" throughout the track, probably just to piss Jay off more, and hopefully get him to respond. Beanie Sigel > the new Jay-z. just sayin. (if you read my blog you should already know my opinion on the new Jay-z. if not, bp3 is mediocre at best. 1-900-hustler/cashmere thoughts jay is better than on to the next one/empire state of mind jay-z)

Jay-z won a few AMAs last night, also he performed the world's gayest song "Empire State of Mind" with Alicia Keys. I hate that song. FUCK NEW YORK. Boston for life!

Aside from all this dissing and hating, there was a celebration last night in the form of the American Music Awards. Overall, they were kind of whack. the announcer kept saying "coming up soon, a performance from Eminem featuring FIDDY Cent." CLEARLY this was a futile effort to get the youth/urban people interested in the AMAs which could have been pawned off as the Country Music Awards. my favorite performances were from: Jay-z and Alicia Keys "Empire State of Mind", Lady GaGa "Bad Romance", Eminem "Crack a Bottle" and "Forever". Even though i hate that damn Jay-z song, i still like seeing him live.

Lady GaGa is so goddamn dope, i love that girl.


Eminem. do i even need to explain how awesome this is?

The AMAs were not as good as i expected. Every female category was between Beyonce, Lady GaGa and Taylor Swift, who pretty much won everything. and all the male categories had Michael Jackson in it. MJ won like 4 of the damn things, and his brother Jermaine came out to accept on his behalf. Of course, Jermaine brought his kids up on stage with him, Jerfar, Jermaine JR, and *drum roll please*....the best name ever, so good i cant believe its actually on a birth certificate....JERMAJESTY! HOW THE FUCK DONT I HAVE THIS NAME?! I'm royalty, i should have that name! (no but seriously, poor kid having to go through life with that name.) Blanket was a nickname, Jermajesty is on a birth certificate. Michael was the NORMAL Jackson. Besides MJ and T-Swift taking home everything, there was nothing "BIG!" to say the least. there was no KanYe interruptions, there were no "HOLY SHIT!" performances or acceptance speeches, nothing. very ho-hum if you ask me. i still cant wrap my head around the fact that some country group ive never heard of "Gloriana" beat out Lady GaGa and KiD CuDi for best new artist or w/e category it was. CuDi and GaGa are both ALL OVER THE PLACE, you can't watch tv without seeing GaGa or CuDi.


basically, what im trying to say is i have a crush on Lady GaGa and one day i want to be married to a bitch exactly like her. i love her eccentricity and her voice is also sexy as hell. not to mention shes DOPE.
